Asbestos Inspections for Homeowners / Property Investors
Asbestos Safety West recommends that an asbestos inspection is conducted before you start to renovate your house or investment property, or undertake any repairs / maintenance that could disturb asbestos materials.
The comprehensive asbestos inspection includes:
Description of general building materials used for construction of the house and outbuildings
Laboratory results from materials submitted to a NATA accredited laboratory for analysis
List showing the location, type, condition of the asbestos including a risk assessment and recommendations for safe management
Other hazardous materials, such as Lead Paint, Insulation, etc identified at the property
Photographs showing the location of the asbestos materials
The asbestos inspection includes all accessible internal and external areas of your property including outbuildings such as garages, garden sheds, outside toilets etc.
The completed report will be emailed to you within seven working days of the inspection.
